Noble Champion Recognized by the American Hanoverian Society
The celebrated Oldenburg stallion Noble Champion, owned by Horses Unlimited, has been recognized by the American Hanoverian Society. A show jumping powerhouse during the late 90s, the stallion had previously been approved by the German Hanoverian Verband. Since the American Hanoverian Society’s (AHS) recent decision to conform their breeding rules to their German parent organization, Noble Champion has subsequently been licensed as an Elite Stallion and also been entered in the American Hanoverian Society’s Jumper Breeding Program.

Bugatti Hilltop Approved by Oldenburg Horse Breeders Society
Hilltop Farm is proud to announce the Oldenburg Horse Breeders Society (GOV) approval of our newly imported stallion, Bugatti Hilltop.
Bugatti Hilltop (Bergamon - Rubinstein - Donnerhall) has added another credential to his record with his recent approval by the GOV. Purchased by Hilltop Farm as a coming three-year-old, Bugatti passed his 70-day test in Germany with the impressive score of 140.62 in the dressage phase. Bugatti was competed from the Bundeschampionat through Intermediaire I by Germany's Michael Klimke. He stood for three seasons at the National Stud of Sweden and has sired a number of inspection site champions and premium foals in the U.S. through frozen semen.

American Warmblood Registry/American Sportpony Registry Announces Young Breeders Seminar/Team Selection
The 2008 American Warmblood Registry/American Sportpony Registry (AWR/ASPR) Young Breeders Seminar and Team Selection for this year's world championships will be held in Kansas City, June 20-23. The 2008 competition will be held in Ireland in August. The seminar is open to young breeders from the ages of 14-24. The cost for the seminar is $1,400 USD per participant. Young Event Horse Judging Session at Galway Downs
Marilyn Payne will host a Spalding Labs/United States Eventing Association (USEA) Young Event Horse (YEH) judging seminar at Galway Downs on March 27, which will be held in conjunction with the Continuing Education Clinics program that will be happening that weekend. The seminar will start at 1 p.m. and will tentatively end at 5 p.m. Those that have already signed up for the CEC program can attend for free. Those that wish to sign up just for the YEH seminar will pay a $50 fee, payable to the USEA. There will be time in the classroom and then there will be horse-and-rider combinations to critique outside as well.

USEF 2008 Outreach Grant Program Offers Financial Assistance to Breed Shows With the 2008 competition season just beginning, the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) recognizes that the rising cost of show expenses can often hinder breed shows. To assist competitions with expenses, the USEF offers the Outreach Grant program, which provides financial assistance to various USEF breed competitions.

Scott Hassler a Featured Presenter at the KWPN-NA Annual Meeting
The Dutch Warmblood Studbook of North America (KWPN-NA) was pleased to welcome national young dressage horse coach Scott Hassler as a featured presenter at its 20th Annual Meeting in Wellington, FL, March 6-8, 2008. The three-day event featured some of the greatest movers and shakers in the sport. In addition to Hassler, Geoff Teall and John Madden also gave in-depth presentations with demo horses and riders. These exciting interactive workshops were just part of the festivities and educational opportunities available.
